Delivery Terms

1. Delivery Methods

1.1. Ordered goods can be delivered to the specified address (home, work) or picked up in person at the warehouse / collection point.
1.2. Available delivery methods and partners are indicated in the order form.

2. Delivery Times

2.1. Delivery time for individuals is usually 7–14 business days from the moment the order is paid / confirmed (if prepayment is selected).
2.2. If the order is placed with cash on delivery or another payment method requiring additional processing, the delivery period may be extended.
2.3. In cases where the item is out of stock or the delivery partner faces delays, Iddea.lv will contact the customer and offer an alternative — to wait, change the item, or cancel the order.

3. Delivery Costs

3.1. Delivery costs are calculated based on the delivery location, order weight/volume, and the chosen delivery method.
3.2. If the order amount exceeds a pre-defined threshold, free delivery may be available (if such an offer is active).
3.3. Additional fees may apply for urgent delivery or special circumstances (e.g., delivery at a specific time, delivery outside the major city zone, etc.).

4. Payment Processing and Order Confirmation

4.1. After placing the order and processing the payment (if necessary), a confirmation is sent to the customer via email, including information about the delivery method, estimated delivery date, and costs.
4.2. If the order is paid upon delivery, the delivery courier must be able to process payments according to the selected payment method.

5. Delivery Confirmation, Packaging Inspection, and Receipt

5.1. Upon receiving the goods, the customer is invited to check the external condition of the packaging. If the packaging is damaged or the item is obviously damaged, this must be noted on the delivery document or with the courier before signing.
5.2. If the damage is not recorded upon receipt and the customer’s signature confirms that the goods were received in good order, it may subsequently be more difficult to seek liability from the supplier.

6. Delivery Times and Territories

6.1. Delivery is carried out on business days (e.g., Monday to Friday) from XX:XX to XX:XX (your chosen time).
6.2. Delivery outside Riga (or the main populated areas) may take longer, and the customer will be notified of any potential delay.
6.3. For legal entities or large/bulky orders, delivery conditions may differ and are determined separately.

7. Liability for Loss or Damage During Delivery

7.1. Iddea.lv ensures that goods are appropriately packaged to minimize the risk of damage during transportation.
7.2. If the goods are damaged in transit, the customer may claim compensation by submitting a relevant complaint and photographs showing the damage.
