On August 2nd, the team of the Latvian Puppet Theater (LLT) gathered for the 81st season opening celebration, which took place both at the theater premises on K. Barona Street and during a group trip to the Valmiera Summer Theater Festival. The first performances will be available starting August 9th, with the return of Ģirts Šolis’ production “Lottie and Lisa” (Divas Lotiņas) in a renewed version. During the first weekend, summer theater-goers will also be welcomed by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Alphabet for Fun,” “Pif… Again,” and “The Adventures of Juhan the Skeleton.”

In October, the theater will celebrate its 80th birthday, and in its honor, the autumn season will be brimming with special events and activities!
