One day, an unusual bird flew up to Ucipuci’s window. It looked as if it had come from the ancient times of the dinosaurs! The bird was talkative and explained that he wasn’t real at all — he had been drawn by a little girl whose big brother didn’t want to read. She thought that the boy would want to find out what kind of bird it was and would learn the letters. However, her brother still didn’t want to read, so in the middle of the night the bird gathered its courage, stretched itself out of the page (which wasn’t easy!), and flew away. And that’s when the adventures began!
